The eyes point to a place of destination deep in the heart of God's land. He bears an atlatl, a tool that uses leverage to achieve greater velocity in dart or javelin-throwing. Many of these tools and weapons were made with obsidian and jade-based blades, as they were viewed as a luxury.
 
When I formulated this concept, I forgot the handle below the spear, but this was a creative process for myself.
