The largest of the commemorations I've ever completed, this is by far the second most innovative and emotional piece I've created. The subjects in this painting are part of a series on which I'm working where I honor or recognize the passing of an artist or figure in the media and highlight them. I realize that some of these figures have a controversial legacy that I was unaware of at the time.
